Default Sensus Issues??? Audio going completely mute

Hi,
Today for the second time this month I have had the Sensus go crazy and have absolutely no sound.
Everything seemed to be working: Radio, streaming, phone paired, but no volume. Tried both the volume buttons on console and steering.
Strange thing was it worked on the 1.5hr commute to Lisbon and 30 minutes on the way back home. After stopping for coffee for about 5 minutes, got nothing all the way home. Even the parking sensor beeps were not audible.

Last month: The screen completely froze up on me with no buttons working

I know issues are normal, but I couldn't find any info on the audio going complete mute. Has anyone had similar issues?

Thanks,
Paulo

Loose connection perhaps from head unit to amplifier? Or intermittent fault on amplifier? Loose connections could ex0ain strange behaviour was the volume meter showing level?

Nope. The volume meter would not come up when fiddling with the volume control.

Could be a connection issue if the button is connected to loom rather than direct to HU, worth asking dealer to reinstall software package and check for connection issues if under warranty

I've had this several times, bizarrely most recently yesterday. All the displays work normally, showing radio or media, but no volume. Turning off the Sensus and restarting has no effect. However, in all cases, the problem is fixed by stopping the car, turning off the engine and engaging the locking (ie, a complete power-down). Then, upon restarting, the volume returns. I put it down to a software glitch and hope it never becomes anything more serious. It's one of those problems, I suspect, which is very difficult to establish the root cause.

Yeo, forgot to mention turning off/on had no effect. This morning as soon as car started up, everything was fine and working. Will bug the dealer in March when going for 1st service, unless it gets any worse.
