What's strange is that the bores are fine so it either spat out the bits of valve or they melted completely.

Getting my 2ltr block rebuilt. Anyone know anyone who sells a new crank pulley that can take a trigger wheel, supercharger and alternator? What's the best uprated clutch (fast road)? What's the best flywheel weight? Who sells uprated brake pads? Better brakes?

I have a set of mintex 1144 completion pads for sale on ebay at the moment. We used to use them on a rally pv and found they gave good feel and anti fade qualities.

Supercharger will be a harder one with only a few NOS kits about. Clutch I have a couple of options and again with the flywheel. What power level are you looking at and 6 or 8 bolt crank? Brake upgrades also available for reasonable money or you can go all out with willwood stuff. Flywheel weight there is no magic best weight, for a road car you need to keep enough weight for good idle and low down manners but on a race car you can go lighter. |

flywheel weight
My standard Amazon B20 122S, apart from a 4 branch manifold and Simonz exhaust, with 6 bolt flywheel, weighed 9.99Kg.
I had weight removed down to 7.52Kg. I left the final weight decision to a guy who had a machine shop and also did a bit of rallying. This weight reduction being slightly over 25% from standard. The engine revs pick up a lot quicker and I still have a sweet, non lumpy tick over. Best Wishes Chris |

Thanks guys.
Dai those pulleys won't work for my plan but thanks. Dai do you have the mounting brackets for willwoods? Is this a standard Amazon pulley as I don't recognise it? I've got a kg6 cam on order following speaking to kg trimning so should have a lot more grunt than previous! |

I assume that's the last stage of assembling the engine? New push rods measured to fit the cam and head?
