Default Engine note has suddenly got louder?

Hi all, seems like a while since I last posted on here...

Had my 850 T5 since november and its been running well. Its always had an induction kit on it and you get a lovely noise from the intake. But suddenly last week its noticeably louder. There has been no loss in performance, the engine does sound a bit 'tappety' recently, but only slightly.

Does anyone know why its suddenly louder?

I did an oil/filter change about 500miles ago and was going to give it another at some point this week.

Hiya,

could an engine mount have failed? The one at the top of the engine, or the one by the offside wheel on the subframe might be good ones to check?

Cheers, Pete
