Downloaded the Pocketgps file and loaded OK, will see how they work tomorrow.

Smithy37, are you able to select "no sound"? It would be good to use sound 3 for all the cameras excluding the mobiles and use "no sound" for those.

However I find that it reverts to sound 1, does yours do the same?

I've not tried it although I am sure I have read somewhere that it is a glitch in sensus and it will always default to sound 1.

Thanks all for info above.

Really annoying no cameras as standard in the software.

Just swapped a MY12 V50 for an MY12 XC60.

V50 had all the cameras marked and worked fine.

I used the http://www.speedcamupdates.com/ method.

Worked fine. Similar issue with cameras not working on short return. Have to get right away from the camera to make them activate again if you come back past them.

All in all really glad I read this thread all the way through.

Hope to spend more time here now I am in the Volvo club.

Angry Still no speed cameras showing

So, having read and re-read this thread, i still seem unable to get speed cameras to appear on the Map. I have a subscription from pocketgpsworld, i download the files for the volvo, i put on to FAT32 formatted USB stick and go through the process of uploading them on the Sensus, all appears to go fine with the upload, but after saving no camera icons appear and no sounds are made when passing speed cameras. All POI's are selected as visible in the settings menu and i can see POI's for everything else other than speed cameras. Anybody else experienced this and solved it?

Just seems strange given that the upload process goes exactly as described earlier in this thread. I have a MY12 delivered Dec 2011.

Thoughts please?

When you unzipped the downloaded file & copied it over to the USB, did you also copy over the small individual files that are respective icon files?

Do you have a screen like this after you load them?

You should have downloaded the files as shown in image 1 attached and copied the files in image 2

SO, I didn't wait till the morning! Back on to Pocketworldgps website a few minutes ago and downloaded the exact same files as shown above. Gone to car and imported them. I now have the camera images on screen, but not in colour. The only difference I have made from the previous download is that I downloaded the UK set rather than the European set. Will check if the alerts work tomorrow whilst out and about. Thanks guys. Mark.

The colour icons in the image only appeared when I upgraded to Sensus v3
