Piston Oil Cooler Jets
Wanted to share this.
Im currently rebuilding my 850R engine and was replacing the gaskets on the covers for the Piston oil cooler jets. Whilst doing this i decided to check the jets and the valve which opens when the oil pressure builds up to cool the pistons down. I found that one of them was solid and jammed meaning that cylinder 2 and 3 would not have been oil cooled. Its worth while checking if your in this area. Whilst its not a major issue its another box to tick to say its working ok. See pics and video after it was released and oiled up. Also for info the bolts are 17nm for torque https://photos.app.goo.gl/VSqFRQfRDz5MuXjy6
