460 fuel problem
Hi, new member here. Just bought a 460 GLEi auto. Fuel pump was whining, replaced and all ok for 3 days. This morning came to start and it wouldn't go. It turns over fine and doesn't start BUT when I stop cranking the engine I hear a "swoosh" of petrol from somewhere like someone has thrown a cup of fluid in the engine bay. When I've checked there is petrol dripping / pouring from under or around the battery holder after attempted starting. My guess is that there is a blockage / fuel pressure regulator failure but the fuel shouldn't spill back out from anywhere!? I'm guessing it has now burst a fuel pipe or something. Any help GREATLY appreciated before I lose patience :(

RE: 460 fuel problem
Hi again. It was the fuel pressure regulator that had failed. Led to 2 days of stripping down / replacing parts (incl injector rail), now sorted. Thanks Volvo Oldham for charging me a fiver for a 1.5cm rubber O ring :(
