Unhappy PV in Kent breakers!

Just seen this on ebay and thought someone may be interested. I'm guessing parts for these must be getting hard to find as its bad enough getting bits for my 145!
Badly listed so it may have been missed?

Default PV for sale

Very interesting - what we want is for somebody to go to the yard and inspect it for us. Although the rear wings look rotten, the front ones may be half decent, and I know somebody who wants a pair.
Vented wheels imply the front axle may be from an Amazon, but some idea of the interior condition and if the engine is complete/turns would be nice. Thinking of our PV I wonder how much for the whole car for spares (if its not rotten underneath).

Oh dear - life is full of dilema's.....

That car must be worth saving as a going concern surely?
I've taxed worse.

I am a newbie to all things Volvo, so unsure of what is what on it!!
I have looked at their website ( http://www.jrcarspares.co.uk/?page_id=108 ) and its not yet listed on there so as you say, it needs someone local with PV knowledge (or just a camera!) to find out what's what on it and if it can be sold complete as salvage, but i'm guessing that will not be allowed if a certificate of destruction has been issued for it.

It's just time and money to get it back on the road.... I didn't think you guys got the PV's imported into the UK so I doubt many folks are looking for parts from such a beast. Did all the UK PV's come into the UK by private parties?

The slotted front wheels were used on the PV's from about mid '63 onward. Odds are it left the factory with that style. No reason to think it has an amazon front running gear unless someone wanted to put the disks off an amazon on a PV. I have not a clue why the breaker would think it's a 244. It should be titled as a 544 or possibly a 110 (like the amazon that is sometimes a 130 for the two door version, 220 for the wagon). They also stopped producing the 544 in Oct. of '65 so again have no clue how they think it's a '68. I'm wondering if there is a fake title with it or something and they are just reading it.

If it is at a registered breakers yard they cannot sell it as a complete car, they have to break it. Or lose their licence.

Default pv in kent breakers

Just to say,Terminal pv is not in the breakers anymore! I have it ,in exchange for an equally terminal Micra.
Yard was literally around the corner from my house, i found a brand new front wing inside the cabin even the correct side for my p210 van resto!
The sleepless friday nite was well worth it,how lucky am i?
