Quite like the look of the second one?

Is it known to anyone?

I went and saw it. Good paint, all steel, no rust. Was rebuilt by students, so the welding is best described as functional. It is certainly not pretty, but it is effective...ie inner wings. Panel fit is poor, esp passenger wing. Pass door skin repair a bit shonky, but paint good. Interior v tired, wet floor. Engine original, tappety, but would have ticked over all year long once started. Car is a good bet in a lot of ways, a bit crude in others. But it is def more soild than 95% out there. Seller sound as a pound.

Thanks Amazon 69. Was wondering about going to have a look but not sure if it's worth the 400 mile round trip. Wet floor sounds a bit worrying. Was this from the screen? Could you tell?

Looking for a daily driver so looks not everything but solidity is!

Says reserve is set at 2+ level so guess he'll be looking for around £2k?

Windscreen rubber, def. floor wet but not rusty, not sure if it's been stored outside. I expect he does want 2k. It's probably worth it tbh....engines are cheap, bodywork isn't. Original and rust free rear arches. I don't want a 4dr, I went with a friend...it is a nice colour, doors all shut well due to new hinges...is a v honest car. 400 miles is quite a trek though...he may well take some better pics for you if you ask, the ones on ebay are a bit rubbish.

Thanks again,

Think I'll give him a bell and take it from there.

So I ended up buying this one and took delivery today. So far, after a good 100 mile drive, impressions are good. Very solid, mechanics seem good, interior needs a very good clean.

Happy so far!!

Will post pics, etc soon.
