480 Wiring loom
I currently drive a volvo 480 1.7i. I would like to fit the turbo lump into my car. Does anyone know if the wiring looms are the same?? Or would i need a new loom??

RE: 480 Wiring loom
The looms are very different I would imagine. But you can splice things together.
The engine has its own loom for fuel injection and ignition which is seperate from the car loom apart from a few connections (12V, GND, fuel pump etc). The car loom that goes to the engine is for dash gauges mainly (and fuel computer stuff). I'm breaking a '93 440 Turbo with a good engine if you're interested. |
