Volvo S70 T5 CD Auto 1998 with R parts For Sale
Hi
I'm unfortunately having to sell this due to a new job and company car (which will most likely not be as nice as the Volvo but I've nowhere to keep it). Please see the ebay advert for all the info: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/256039319557 Any queries please let me know. Kind regards Andrew

Your car looks amazing mate. So much work done on it at so much cost. It must be hard to let it go. I hope it goes to a good home and that it doesn't need to be broken for parts.

Just spent a load on sorting the aircon which is now ice cold. I definately don't want to add up the various costs over the years! There's probably things I've forgotten as well, at some point it's had a new electrical part of the ignition switch and antenna ring. I dropped/changed and flushed the gearbox fluid around the 120,000 miles mark as well with Castrol Dex III ATF fluid. It's had some lower mileage driveshafts put on as well but I can't remember when I did that. Whenever an outer CV boot split it got a complete new CV joint. I would like to say that it's been well looked after. If I could keep it I would.

Exactly my sentiments regarding the sale of mine currently.
Though the time wasters out there are ensuring it stays on the drive ! What a mess around I've had ! Hope you find a genuine buyer soon - your car is superb !

Still for sale. Open to considering sensible offers.
Temporary (until I get given the list of what I can order) company car is a Merc A200 AMG which is quite nice but the seats aren't a patch on the R seats in the Volvo.

I need this gone by 4th June. Car is located in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. Car comes with a load of spares including the original set of perfo's + spacesaver spare wheel, a spare (bare) comet alloy, plus various new parts I've bought which I intended to fit. Still have the original driveshafts as well if you want those.

My son is looking for an 850 T5 Estate, which clearly this is not! however it wouldnt hurt to show him yours. We are down here in Kent, so is there any possible chance that you could send him a walk around type video/start up/drive etc. Thanks in advance, cheers Paul. |

I appreciate the interest but I've done probably the most detailed sales description ever and there's 20 odd photos. I've spent so much time on this already for a circa £3k car and now I'm working at the new job I just don't have the time now unfortunately. Kind regards Andrew

He grew up with me owning a fair few Volvos over the years, so it was only natural for him to start to drive them for himself (once his insurance came down from driving small Jap cars). He owns a very nice early S40 T4, but he now wants to step up to a T5. I will send you a PM sometime today/night, asking a few more questions. Cheers Paul. |

Looks like a great car, and obvious that it has been meticulously looked after as emphasized by that detailed description,,
really surprised this hasn't sold yet?! |
