I am struggling to find the pollen in the vida parts catalogue, i have searched for cabin filter, pollen filter, air filter and air cleaner, those are the obvious ones and nada, any ideas on the search term to use please?

I had one from Volvo last year for my 2006 reg S60. Part number is 30630755 and it’s called a ‘multi filter’. This is the thicker filter for models with an air quality sensor.

Hi, thanks for the info and link, it looks like that p/n is for both pollen and multi filters, from what it looks like on ebay, if it does not state multi then i dont touch it, then of course that takes the price over the 30 quid mark as a rule, yeah, mine has the AQS, well, it does but its faulty lol (allegedly (vida))

Now i know the name of the filter, i did a search in Vida, there are 2 multi filter part numbers both for system with an AQS, the other p/n is 30676419, looking on ebay, its just the pollen filters, a little confused now cause vida says both are for the AQS, see image..

Hi.
You can get a MAHLE LAK/51 FILTER for about £20.
It`s the charcoal impregnated one for ECC with Air Quality Sensor.
I got mine from Opie Oils - a good company . Can be found cheaper if you shop around.

Ask the size of the filters. One for AQS is around 39mm and carbon impregnated, other is thinner at around 24mm

I just call it an inch (plain pollen) or 1.5" (IAQS system).

Besides known good names like Mahle, Hummel-Mann and Volvo give Corteco a look. I was impressed.

Bashy: Did VIDA give you the "bad sensor code"?

Thanks guys, am i to assume that the bosch ones are no good?

No, no fault codes, but it does take longer to clear the screen than i would have expected when the Beardies are a tad damp, my previous Lagunas were great in this respect...

MAHLE is the best brand to go for as they make this part for Volvo.

Autodoc sell it for a crazy good price:
https://www.autodoc.co.uk/mahle-original/11602451

The above is for cars fitted with the AQS, but even if you don't have AQS you can just break a tab in the filter enclosure and put it in that slot.

Wow, good call, thanks, no umming and ahing there, bought it, with shipping it goes up to £14.61 all in, stupid less vat lark leads you in though, then they add in a 3.81 restocking fee, soon removed that wee puppy lol
