Default Clutch Slave Cylinder Query

Just like it says in the Title: does the same slave cylinder work for both M47- and M90-equipped cars?

Just be aware that the cylinder is steel which fits into aluminium gear box casing. I have known them to be seized in the Gearbox due to the aluminium corroding (dis similar metals). If you are changing one put plenty of grease on the cylinder when you re fit it.

I replaced mine a few years ago with a FAG one off ebay and then got a seals kit from Volvo for the master cylinder. From memory I think there were two different OEM types of slave cylinder and I can't remember if they are interchangeable.
