244 DL Auto 1979 Mustard Yellow 22,900 miles for sale

I have come into the possesion of a d-reg volvo 244 DL in mustard yellow. It is in amazing condition and has done around 25,000 miles. It has had one owner from new and has a full servies history! I have no idea what to do with it. I know there are lots of 240 etc on the market going for very little, but this seems too good to just scrap. Does anyone have any ideas as to what can be done, value or if anyone is interested. Photos can be supplied during next week. It has been handed to me from a very frail relative who is now to elderly to drive. It has been in a garage for the last year so has no taxt or mot. It is however spotless with no rust as all. the interior is like new

My family are sorting out the estate of the deseased relative who owned a 1979 Mustard Yellow 244 dl Auto. It is in amazing condition and only has 22,899 miles in on the clock. It has been garaged for quite some time. It hasnt been taxed since april lastyear and the last mot was done on the first of march 2007. It has since done 2 MILES!!! It had an advisory notice for a " power steering pump slight seepage"

The registration is ETW 275T. I do have photos so please email me or phone me so i can send them to you (details below)

The battery does need charging which. we have done it for a couple of hours and it did try and tick over but it could probably do with a little petrol.

Like i said, it is an amazing condition and the interior is spotless!

The car is based in Ashtead, surrey (jn 9 M25) and MUST be removed from the garage before saturday. We are looking to sell to someone who will give it a good home and understands its value.

I very positive that is Carlsbad Gul,( Carlsbad Yellow) my brothers 1980 245dl is the same colour. Though it was only recently repainted .
