XC60 replacement washer jets - fan type
Hi all, recently purchased my XC60 and quite surprised that it has old style jets of (inaccurate) water for the windscreen washer, rather than more modern fan type. I've had a search around the internet and found some info for V70s and I think the part number talked about on that thread will work, but I wondered if anyone has any actual experience of upgrading these on an XC60?
Any info appreciated Cheers |

Fitting them is easy, just disconnect the wiring and piping and fit the new ones in. Clip everything back together. Make sure you buy heated nozzles though if you have a heating element. As if you buy "ordinary" nozzles, they won't have the connector port for the heating element wiring to go to. So you'll end up with new nozzles, but no heating function in that scenario. They're easy to tell apart - Heated ones have a wire coming off them, the non-heated don't. Heated nozzles aren't cheap though. Pretty sure they were around £37 from Volvo (each) when I got them last year. Those are the fan type ones. They work well, but its a lot for washer nozzles.

I was told that actually Volvo went back to the single jet due to safety as the fan jet coverers the entire screen where as the single jets dont therefore there is no loss of visibility.
Makes sense I suppose and the info came from a Volvo dealer. .
