Default MY17 XC90 going for first service

Hi all, as the subject says, my MY17 XC90 is going for its first service later this week.

I don't have any complaints that need looking at, at this point. I am expecting the software will be updated.

Is there anything else that I should get the dealer to look at, as a preventative measure? There are no oustanding recalls I am aware of. Any TJs that are worth getting done? Anything else? Please let me know.

Thanks.

I had a power pulse pipe replaced and a new bracket fitted but cant remember which bracket it was now, both were TJ's. My XC90 is a 2017 model.
Edit: my XC90 did not need seatbelt fix, (june 2016) some later models require this fix.

My first service was in Oct '17 and the following (outstanding) fixes were also applied (without me asking):
  • replaced EGR bracket
  • replaced PowerPulse hose
  • replaced rear (exploding ) seatbelt
  • updated VDDM (Vehicle Dynamics Domain Master)
  • updated to Sensus 2.0

Mine goes in at the end of next moth for 1st service at 12 month old. I havn't had anything go wrong except the odd software glitch which only lasted seconds and never came back. I assume they will upgrade sensus if it needs it.

Thank you. I see that the dealer did some of those repairs on their own. Do they write down all those things that they did on some report, that you get at the end of the service?

I did not get my TJ's carried out at normal service, I took it in for something else to get sorted and they updated Sensus and carried out the TJ mods at the same time, I did not get any paperwork but was told the mods had been carried out.
You may get this on your service report though. Not all cars will need the TJ's or all of them, it depends on when car was built.

I don't think they were on the service report. I knew they were going to do things over and above the normal service because when I booked it in they explained they'd need the car for the whole day to do extra work. When I picked up the car I asked them what had been done exactly.

Actually on the diesels it is 12 months or 18,000 miles, whichever comes first.
