Drive shaft gaiters.
Is there a supplier of split gaiters out there that anyone's used?
The ones on my car are ok but just want to get a couple just in case.

I've only ever used the split CV boots a couple of times, i find them a bit fiddly & usually end up sticking my fingers (gloves) to them.
you also have to be careful not to get any grease on the boot prior to glueing, as the glue will not stick properly if it's contaminated ! I would only ever use them as a quick temporary repair & not a long term solution. I much prefer to use either the standard boot, or a stretchy boot ! |

bailcast sticky boot are maybe slightly better than another brand I tried.
I have used bailcast stretchy boots in the past (but fitted without stretching them.) And they seem to last reasonably well. I don't like split boots but if you keep everything clean and glue the recommended 2cm at a time then it might be okay. Also don't overfill with grease (if you clean the old grease off and use the supplied sachet its unlikely that you will).
