S40 Body Kit by Heico...rather good!
Hi all,
I came across an old picture of the Heico S40 racer. The front bumper spoiler appears to cost around - E450 The rear lip is about E345 - and that's all I can find out. No idea about how much the wide-arch kit is, nor how much the side skirts. There's a few more picture here - http://www.eurotuner.com/features/16...5/viewall.html makes for an interesting project if anyone wants to go a little extreme. What do you think?

Love it.
Maybe for my mid-life crisis.

That's the Heico "HS4 Odin". Heico parts look excellent IMO but they are hellishly expensive and I'm not sure that there's a dealer in the UK so you're subject to costly shipping and maybe import tax.
I looked at their exhaust system but with the "race pipe" to make it a full length system it was pushing a grand compared to £400 for the Jetex unit. Walter Dressler at Heico is a very helpful guy if you want to email them enquiries. Iain

Heico’s kits are very expensive!!! These are not new and have been around for some years now. I think it will be rear or very expensive to get this exact kits. if you go to their web site you will see their kits for various models.
I believe this is for their race cars – HS4 Odin. If you look closely, you will see side clips that hold it to the mud guards for it to be replaced like F1 cars if damaged during a race. You may get it, but how secure is it from theft with external clips like that? You will also find it difficult to insure your car in the UK because it is not OED modification. If however you do, you will then pay heavily for it. If am sure, the similar body-kits sale does not have side skirts and your car will look funny without the skirts. If I want to go extreme, I will prefer Evolve body kits. Last edited by jigharha; Sep 12th, 2012 at 14:48. |
