If you are going to clear coat it, you could add a tint of your choice. I hope you don't go down the fake rust route.

The finish in the pictures is the finish - it has two coats of special clear coat that adheres to metal - then two anti-scratch top coats - then a layer of matte I hate fake rust almost as much as real rust

I notice that you seem to have used what appears to be "vinyl beading" between the body and wing. I thought you were against it?

I don't like the system but it is what it is. I considered changing the system to continuously welded parts but thought that would probably cause more trouble in the long run - especially if there was accident damage. Also having seen a few pictures of PVs with customised seamless wings fitted to the body it makes the vehicle look like a jelly mold. The line of vinyl does break up the shape and give it some charm. I decided I would put in new vinyl strips and "keep it original" but coat the outer and inner edges of the vinyl with mastic to try and prevent water ingress.

1) The part is in bits (as are most of the the other parts of the vehicle) 2) The parts have been packed and stacked on pallets ready for the move. However, If you look in the parts book (for example) there's a nice exploded view of the master cylinder showing the correct orientation. I can send you a screen shot if you don't have access to the book
