Default Register XC60 in UK (headlights)

Hi,

I've XC60 from 2017 (without Active High Beam). Car was bought in PL but now I'm moving to UK and would like to register car over there. I'm checking Mutual Recognition form (https://assets.publishing.service.go...ecognition.pdf) and wondering if my car has flat-beam headlights? How can I check it? Any clue what kind of evidence I can submit to VCA? Thank you in advance.

Current model RHD XC60 (Non adaptive) does not have a flat horizontal beam. It has a noticeable "kick up" on the nearside (left). This is very obvious when you drive in the dark. The label on the top of the headlight units is clearly marked RHD.

If your car has a similar beam setup for driving on the right (LHD) it would be obvious when you drive in the dark. Here is a pic of the dipped beam pattern on my car. Is yours like this, but the opposite hand?

Thanks. In my case it looks a bit different:

Any clue if this is flat horizontal beam (still near the center there is slight change in height)?

No that beam is not flat. There is a definite "kick up" to the right from both headlamps, although it does look less pronounced than on my car.

I think if you moved the car further away from the wall the result may be similar to mine ( but the opposite hand ).

That is flat. If there was an elevation, it would be to the right not the middle.
