I ordered it in September and it was delivered in February. The salesperson said that there were no deals, although there does seem to be a lack of communication between sales and servicing.

I ordered in July/Aug and took delivery in Feb and the offer was definitely running when I ordered.
I suspect the dealer gave you incorrect advice (unless the offer was stopped then restarted).

Maybe being cynical but perhaps the dealer was hoping you would have your car serviced in their workshop and would make more money from you if they told you service deals were not available!
