S40 Wing mirror cover

Hi all,

I need driver's side wing mirror cover for S40 2008 reg. I found one on ebay but it says 2010-2013 I sent them a message but they say it does not fit my 2008 s40. Is there really difference in mirror cover style/form comparing 2008 and 2010-21012 models?
Or maybe anybody know where I can get cover cheap? Thank's

I found volvosaab breakers in Nottingham really helpful for my issue, might be worth a call. Look on Google as I keep forgetting to bring the link. Not to far if you decided to take a look yourself, but they will post if they've got what you are after.

There seem to be 3 versions of mirrors on our cars. Usually people think its pre-FL and post FL differs only, but there was a weird "hybrid" version of S40 somewhere 07-08 with some interior parts from FL model and different mirrors that 04-07 cars had. That mirror is also different from FL model 08-onwards.
I didnt think FL mirrors will be different so 08-12 should be the same but I may be wrong, its a bit of a mess.
On top of that, some mirrors were foldable, some were also with puddle lights and I am not sure if all 3 versions used the same shape covers or not...

basically - its a bit of a gamble unless you see it / fit it yourself.

Thank's Lizard. I did contact all local scrap yards but nobody have S40. and then I thought that V50 or C30 same year could have same cover or not? Like you said it's a bit of gamble but chances to find cover will be better than just looking for S40.

Truth be told, I haven't a clue. Sorry it took me this long to reply. I'm not as Volvo savvy as some of the members on the forum. The Lizard proves this.
