my T5 came with 17" wheels and 300mm brakes.. (not 320.)

I'd be interested in the conversion too.

Have you added braided brake lines? they make a hell of a difference.

It's possible it could be an offset/clearance thing as well as a size thing with the brake clearance.

they are just one piston calipers, but its a big piston lol, give alot of push. i'm holding off braided lines untill i get the calipers, as some one told me the connections at the caliper end are slightly different on the smaller calipers so no point getting them sooner. i think the best option is to chuck one of my wheels on an ST and see if theres issues before i commit.

In a word No.

I don’t know the exact specs but I would imagine there are big difference, Focus ST sport orientated, Volvo V50 regardless of model comfort orientated.

I took it for granted that the springs and shocks would be different but im assuming the struts, Wishbones etc. are the same then.

Excellent - I'd love to do that conversion on mine - running 300mm at the mometn (got the same 17" wheels too)

What components did you need to order to make the change.. .and is it a straight bolt off-blot on job, or are other adjustments (brake bias etc..) needed?

What difference did you notice in braking and driving characteristics... and have you had it on a track day with the 320mm on yet?

Cheers - Ben

calipers purchased!, i'll run ford discs and i can get them for £50, probably mintex 1144 pads and braided lines but that'll need to wait till the end of the month calipers, rear camber arms and 4 tyres have eaten my budget this month lol. and buying comedy size spanners to adjust the camber arms lol, 32mm combi spanners are huge!
