Old thread resurrection.
I have this problem. I have had my car 3 months as of yesterday. The car went into the dealers about a month ago for this problem amongst other things.
I am just wondering if this should still be covered under warranty as the car only came with a 3 month warranty (from main dealer), but has already been in for this under warranty but the dealer has not cured the fault. I did call and book it in at the beginning of the week when the car was still under warranty, and they haven't replaced the wiring harness, was just told there was a bad connection to the cem that has been rectified.

Edit; the car is an 05 plate car, and has the wiring inside a rubber sleeve that starts under the top door hinge area and goes down at a 45 degree angle into the door, so not sure if this is the older design or not.
