Volvo S80 V8 For sale on trader

If anyone`s interested there`s a very cheap S80 V8 for sale on Autotrader it`s a 2008 with 96000 miles on the clock priced at £3990 never seen one so cheap

..apart from the fact it appears to be a 2.8 litre, so a T6 not a V8

I was thinking, cheapest V8 I saw was about £8-9k.

It irritates me when people advertise cars wrong, getting our hopes up as quite like the OP says 4k for a V8 would have been cheap. Countless times many Volvos are advertised as being petrol when in fact they are diesel. One main dealer constantly advertises their new and nearly new stuff incorrectly!!

Well there was no photo on when i last looked but i have just checked and the spec for it sounds more V8 than T6 , It`s far too expensive to be a T6 so maybe it`s a scam , there`s been a V8 advertised recently on either Ebay or Autotrader for £6900 it was in the North East area and the seller was private not a trader , i have a 2009 S80 2.5T SE LUX Geartronic in excellent condition it has off black leather with the wood trim (not the shiny version) the colour is pearlesant black with a tinge of gold ,the last service was in november when the cam belt was replaced and also new rear discs and pads and 2 bushes that i was told were perished and a pig to replace , also 2 rear springs ,it has fsh and the m.o.t runs until march the car drives faultless and i can assure you it is definitely a petrol ,anyone interested call me on 07790905308 the first reasonable offer secures

Indeed it is too expensive. It is a 2.8 though.

The V8 from the North East is still on the Autotrader , its a 57 plate with 40000 miles on the clock at £6500 its the AWD LUX model with a sunroof

Hi,

Autotrader has two S80 V8 on the go. One an 07 at £11k with 45k miles.
The other a 57 at £6500 with 40k miles.

Both have V8 badges and what looks to be a V8 lump in the engine bay!
