im after streering wheel control

Hi, im after a steering wheel control for an s40 2008. to control the radio. i know they are around £80 the the dealers. also are they a simple fit and do i need software to make it work.

what price for just the control panels from the wheel

Hi Mark, sorry but I don't really want to split them as a steering wheel without controls is useless to me. I think you'll need all the wiring too and that is all attached to the wheel and I'm not sure if it will all come off in one piece.

I could sell you the whole wheel for less than the new parts from a dealer if you want it?

Hi lee, what price would you give me for the whole wheel with switches. I may be able to collect it from you and pay cash

mine is a 2008 s40 S 1.8. would the wiring plugs be the same?

and also being acheeky so and so , how much would you charge me for fitting it for me?. i know its probably a very simple fit but its me first volvo ever and im a bit ham fisted so i would rather someone with more experience fit it for me.

Hi people im new to the forum, just a quick question. From this thread I am guessing the steering wheel controls can be fitted afterwards fairly easily?

I am currently looking at buying a s40 and would like to get the steering wheel controls fitted after if I get it.
