  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

I've never bothered with conversions or additives, seemed sensible to spend money if a problem came up, not before, but it never has. But I rarely do long hard motorway runs.

I don´t want to hijack this thread but I´ve a ´67 Amazon and wanted to ask if there is any sign of wear due to using unleaded fuel you can hear?

Valve seat recession - VSR - reduces the valve clearances so the engine just might sound quieter. However the rate of wear will be different on each one so probably not noticeable. A tappy engine is a happy engine. Next time you do the tappets (today?) write down the clearances before adjustment and then do the same after 1500kms. There should be little or no change.
