Fixed the clunk that I swore sounded like a top mount, turns out that drop links work better when they're not 2 turns loose

Same rattle is back but on the other side, droplink loose on this side too, the drivers side is also loosened itself again, as my quoted post above, now the 2nd time this has happened, new stainless nylocks, a spring washer and thread lock this time I think.

They shouldn't come undone. Are they loose in the hole? Spring washers are apparently a waste of time. Nordlock washers are supposed to be the only type of lock washer worth bothering with and even they don't make that much difference.

A high strength thread lock may be the best option although when you come to take it off you may need to heat it up to release it.

If the holes have become enlarged then it may be a losing battle.

However, if you are using stainless nuts on ordinary steel thread I believe there is some reaction where the nut will weld itself on there (due to science stuff between the different metals). That might solve your problem! Threadlock would impair that reaction though.

All is good so far, I'm unsure on what the torque settings are meant to be, but let's just say they are FT

Ordered one of those tint strips off eBay the other day, the old p1 I had came with the top portion tinted in a sort of greeny blue colour as part of the screen when I had it replaced and I missed having that so gave it a go, seems to work quite well and looks standard ish too.

I spent £1000 getting my £650 old banger fault free. I've owned it for a week... I must have fell in love with the thing.

I just need an owners manual now so I can set the clock.
