Default S70; C70; V70 P80 'Folding' Door mirrors

Looking at a Jap market V70 ready for import, I saw pix of one fitted with 'folding' (yes electrically folding, as well as electrically adjustable) mirrors.

Never seen these in the flesh, didn't know they existed. I can say my UK spec car has extra (spare flying leads) in the mirror loom. Did UK spec cars get this toy?

Have you got a switch like so...

My S70 in Sydney was originally delivered in Japan, it has the electric folding mirrors plus the shown dash switch. Very handy in tight car packs and busy streets. Also fitted with heated front velour seats! It came with a basic stereo system with no rear speakers but I have since fitted a C70 901 head unit, 100W amp and the better speakers also fitted the later C70 headlights.

Cheers Peter

Is that a Mk1 or 2? As far as I am aware the Mk1 never had them either as standard or an option - they were only available in the Japanese market. Mk2 had them as standard, not sure if on all trim levels.

Mine is a 2008 Mk2, which explains it.
