S40 1.6d 2007 MAF and other issues
Hi all, been having issues with wife’s car, Vida says ECM-136F MAF sensor signal too low, followed checks, should be getting 0-5v on signal line but getting 9-11v, checked resistance on wire down to ecu plug 0.2 ohms So that’s ok, I’ve tried fitting new sensor but then after quick r/test had same jerky driving and then (original code active) got codes ECM-1320 MAF Sensor faulty signal, ECM-6720 EGR Control flow too high, then got BCM-0101 communication between control units communicational problems with ECM, with this code the anti skid service urgent warning on dash appears.
So questions are, is there a background voltage in the ecm that I’m picking up? Or is the ecm faulty? Or do I have issue with engine loom?? |

Is there an option to adapt the new MAF sensor?
If not, try tracing the wiring back to the ECU and checking for faults on the ECU connector. |

I don’t think there is an adaption/teach in for MAF sensor.
I have had the ecm plug off, all clean and dry no corrosion. Plug at MAF is the same, the terminals haven’t spread. I’ve carried out resistance test on signal wire and getting 0.2 ohms, but get 9-11v with ignition on and with engine running, Vida says 0-5v. Ive bought another harness and will change that as it’s cheaper than an ecm. Anyone know or based in North East know of anywhere that can program in another ecm just in case I need to? Thanks. |
