I’ll just say I was intrigued by these two ads.

Obviously the higher price is for the more discerning buyer... Or the Greater London area has more gullible prospective customers than does Hampshire?

The mileage has gone from a specific mileage in April to a very vague one in May.

STEER CLEAR of it!

Looks to me like the current advertiser has just recently bought the car off the original owner, and is now trying to turn it over for a quick handsome profit.

Mind you it is the " Early box model " ?????????????? Having said that I would agree that it's very rare ! In fact it's the only 254k 26 year old 940 for sale at £2750 in the UK

Parts were worth £500 so a runner has to be worth more.

Greedy trader and as has been said why not tell the truth about the mileage?

I didn't realise the 2.0 turbo with M47 was the best spec, silly me I thought it was the 2.3 with m90. I really should educate myself on these cars more!

Also it is course not coarse we aren't talking texture here!

And what the hell is the bit about a garage being famous?

I'd value that at £1k, tops, in that condition.

Could be for sale a long time...

Plastic lights all faded or crazed and chipped
Big dent in rear door
Healight wipers in poor condition
Hole in front bumper corner
Aftermarket cat (worth about 1/2 the volvo cat in scrap value)
Tired seats (probably driver seat knackered)

£2750 advert doesn't show the rear door and bumper condition.

I'll bet bushes or suspension havn't been changed and the engine probably leaking oil.

I'd value it at £500. but a good bargain at that with a solid underside. Anyone goes to see it will be dissappointed.

Fixed up spend £500 on it, maybe worth £1500, but hard to say.
