Default V40 Clutch Adjustment???

Does anyone know if the clutch on a 2004 1.9 d V40 can be adjusted? Biting point is a little too high - almost at top of pedal range. Cheers.

If its got a high biting point and it slips, clutch is knackered. No amount of adjusting will fix it. I dont think you can adjust them on these as its a hydraulic clutch. You could try bleeding it but that won't get you very far when your clutch is toast.

You need to check the flywheel condition also.
