Default Crooked Billet - What is it?

Hi,

Will more than likely be at the August Crooked Billet meet but as a newbie to this I was just wandering what the day entailed? I'm guessing it's a group meeting of like minded performance Volvo owners showing and sharing mods and ideas which is great, but would appreciate any further info about the day! Possibly one for you IC.

Hi robmayer, the CB is just a meet at a pub, we look at each others' cars, have something to eat and drink, talk Volvos and go out in each others' cars. It's a great day and very popular!

Crooked Billet is a Pub that serves food with a large car park that we take over.

Usual day includes meet and greet, some yummy food and drink, a gathering of enthusiasts, the usual banter and includes, if your lucky, a run around the roads by the locals to experience the different mods etc, etc.

All in all, fun meet and usually well worth the time if you've got questions you want answers/opinioins to.

I've only been once, but I intend to attend as many as possible. Have a look at the events section for piccys.

There's usually all levels of mods from standard, you should be spoilt for ideas, and like me come away with a bl**dy long shopping list. My car was standard, except exhaust, when I went 6weeks ago. Just a warning!
