Trouble is now every neioghbour now also has a white car - my Subaru was the first in 2008 and seems to have started a trend, Citoen, Renault, Vauxhall they've all gone white around here!

Mine gets washed whenever there's a sale on at the local drive through, whether it needs it or not. Life's too short to clean cars.

I know it's only an opinion, but I'd rather spend a bit of time looking after the second most expensive purchase I have made.

Mine was Grey until I drove back from Kent yesterday, it has now turned an Off White from all of the grit that was on the roads, now needs a good bath.

Did have a XC90 in metallic willow green??? When you walked round the car, depending on the light it seemed to go to silver then gold. Sure Volvo didn't go down the flip paint route but that was one funny colour. since then it's been white on my last XC90 and my current XC70. So I guess it's white for me..

Not mine but beautiful pearlescent white xc90,brand new outside my work last night, paint had an ethereal quality. Stunning big motor.
