P180 B20 '68 Stainless Steel Exhaust advice.
Hi Folks,
Hope we all well. Getting my exhaust welded today, mild steel so suspect it's probably on its way out. Fingers crossed temp fix will keep me rolling for awhile. 1). Any advice on getting a stainless steel one. 2). Are there any performance improvement options. 3). Would like a deeper sound but not droning boy racer affair ",) 4). I'm in the North West (Blackpool) so any recommendations where to go. Happy to travel some distance excuse to go out for a drive. Thought worth an ask whilst I'm doing a little research on the subject. Thank you. Take care Steve |

I went to a company Bristol way. Infinity exhausts.
Excellent. Fitted a 2.5" 304 system, manifold back, under the axle and sufficiently muted so not to annoy the neighbours but sound pretty decent under load. Really nice welding and fits tight to bodywork without banging. Cost around £250. Russ |
