HD springs do tend to make the bank end a bit harsh and bouncy with no load at all in the back. Not an issue if LPG converted as the tank gives you a load all of the time.

I cant say B6 v B4 on a 940 but on 240's the B6 valving is rubbish and you better off with a B4 on the rear

And there I guess lies my dilemma.
About 60% of the time it's got no load, only me, the other times it full to the gunnels.

Are the B4 shocks any stiffer than the originals?

Ride feels better with them compared to most other after market replacements (and a lot better than old worn out ones) but I've nt been brave enough to fork out for genuine to compare to

Just ordered, some cheap springs and mayle shocks off ebay, yes I know not the best plan, but while pulling off my old rotten exhaust, and renewing the rear brakes found the car to have one nivomat, one normal spring and pretty sure they are nivomat springs since the back end is lopsided and sagging. If they are very harsh will just have to live with it and if they make the backend more lively well....that is just for fun :P

Very interesting that there is a "lift" kit, might be temped for that even more pillow like suspension.
