Default Best place to tee into for boost gauge.

Hi all, I've just finished cleaning my icv and spotted this little vac hose bridged with a small piece of hard pipe, which for me looks like a prime place to fit the tee piece and run the vac line for my boost gauge, remove the hard pipe and replace it with the tee, I don't even need to cut any hoses. I have looked online and the concensus seems to be to fit the hose as close to the inlet manifold as possible, and this is literally an inch away, would this be an OK place to use? I did look at the bit near my knuckle with the blank on it but that will be far too big to fit my hose onto.

Thanks in advance

I was too eager and just used this connection anyway lol, not the most elegant way to mount it but purely for quickness it does the job temporarily, just a smidge under 10psi at full load, that'll do me, tickover is also a nice smooth affair now too after the icv clean up, consistent 700 ish rpm now.
