Hi,

I have just brough a V70 T5 - this is my first volvo and tubo car. My question is when driving it I can't really feel a turbo cut in, although the car does pick up speed. Is this normal our should I feel a surge of power???

Thanks

There is no real noticable turbo lag on the T5. But it should put like a train from anywhere in the rev range.

Ive had 3 T5's now and love them.

I feel the turbo come in on mine! Goes OK up to about 4000rpm then makes a hell of a roaring noise and quickly goes up to 7500rpm before the autobox flips a gear.

To be honest there's so much lag on mine I'm considering an MTE remap - I think these are suppose to take some of the lag out.
