I need to redo the test still but will clamp the pipe this time, just not sure if to clamp the braided part of further back where its just rubber?
yes that return pipe has fuel coming back from the fuel rail pressure relief valve thats normal just put a cap over the end , maybe a brake caliper bleed nipple cap .

What problems are you having ?

Thanks, the initial issue is cold starting, i have to feather the gas to start it and once it starts its very lumpy as though its only firing in 4, strangely though, before i did the test it wasnt this bad, it was like it was firing on 4.5, why just doing that test made it twice as bad i dont know, but fuel did spew all over the top of the engine, it filled all the nooks and crannies including going over most of the injectors electrics, certainly the last couple (far right)

I do not see any issues regarding this in Vida though...

Are all the glow plugs working and what are the results of your leak test compared to the specifications in the Vida test ( is it 50 ml in one min difference i cant remember .

Not sure about vida but Sirrobs video it says 40m, i think. could be wrong mind lol looking at those bottles in the image, i would say its less than 20ml, prob closer to 10.

Not sure about glow plugs as i was steered in the direction of the injectors on here, i can do the ohms check (tis ohms aint it?) in situ on my next play under the hood

yes the specification is that if any injector leaks more than 40 ml ( cc) in a minute it should be replaced ... You need some calibrated glass tubes to do your test ..
