Prior to this I had a Jag XF Sportbrake 3.0S and before that was a Mazda 6 Sport and a TVR Chimaera.

Every time I change cars I seem to gain two seats and lose two cylinders.

I'm looking to having a bit of go again!

It's arrived! I'm a very happy chap.

T8 Polestar, Birch Light with Charcoal Interior, 22" wheels 10 spoke wheels, Xenium Pack, Winter Pack, Intellisafe, HK stereo, Heads up display etc

I’m 53. I’m running a V70 D5 Se, it’s the facelift model with 185bhp.
Was in the process of selling it to fund an XC60..........
The Volvos are my 50 mile round trip to work cars as the hopefully soon XC60 will be.
Had a few V70s over the years.....the D5 engine ones being the best.
For fun I have a 2016 C class saloon and 2008 SLK in the garage.

21 years old, driving a 2005 MY S60 2.5T SE.

My first car, maybe my last... although would like a 240 saloon with all the trimmings one day.

Hi,

All of my Volvo's have been daily drivers, great distraction from modern boredom and excellent educational device's.

Currently I am 39 1/4 years old and am on my third Volvo, a 1989 240 GL 2.0 owned for 11 years recently back on the road.

My second was a 1991 760 GLE 2.8 (7 seater), bought when I was 26 owned for about two years. 12mpg was painful but 2 tonne for the scrap man came in handy when times where hard (don't worry the engine was on its way out as where the Nivomats)

Introduction to Volvo life was a 1989 740 GL bought when I was 24 for £103 from a bemused bloke in a Truro industrial estate (1020 mile round trip in my leased Micra) and was my first of many eBay purchase's, only owned 18 months after I decided to have a Volvo dealer flush the trans (£270+vat down the swanny) but again it was far from a serviceable example apart from the knackered trans it needed four calipers and nearly every bush replacing.

Hi I bought my first Volvo, XC60 last August, it’s my first one, I’m 62, I am pleased with it but should have gone for next model up, the Momentum is a bit short on goodies. But the wife loves it.
