Default Brake pads?

I have a S60 probably the best car I’ve ever owned (that includes 2 new Mercedes) but the problem I’m having is at 15,000 miles the main dealer checked the brakes and the report said all the pads were 30%worn.
After another 3,000 miles 7 of the pads were at 50% and 1 pad was -5% and had ruined the disc!!!!!!
I’m having discussions with the dealer as I’m saying it had to be a mechanical problem and should be repaired under the warranty.
Not sure if anyone else has come across this problem?
Thanks Peter

Was it front or rear?

On the modern electronically controlled braking systems, people who drive fairly sedately tend to wear the rears out much faster and they are a small disc/pad than the front.

However the fact that one pad wore out completely and the other 3 were only 50% worn is clearly a fault (assuming a new car and you are first owner?).

I agree there’s definitely a mechanical problem.
I bought the car as an ex demonstration car 4 months and 4 ,000 miles on it .
Never had a problem with the brakes and only the main dealer has done any work / servicing to it. Not sure why the dealer will not put it through as a warranty claim?.
The two pads on any disc should ware the same give or take 10% in my opinion!!
THANK YOU for your input Peter
