Default Focus ST alloys on a V50 ?????

Anybody know if the pre-facelift Focus ST alloys will fit onto a V50?

I believe the brake/hub components from 2004 onwards were shared.
2004 was the Focus redesign.
Make sure you're not looking at wheels from a late registered Focus with 4 studs holes (i.e. if they have 5 studs, they'll be the same configuration)

What he said ^^^

I looked into this a while back to see if new V50 wheels would fit S70, stud pattern is the same, but the hub size is too small to fit the older cars, but they were the same fitment as Ford

they 100% fit if they are from the st225, the 2.5l not the st170, there are a mexican boy running them they look a bit hummmm. as even though he's had them done like the aetrus wheels (machined face, back inserts) its clearely a focus ST rim and looks a bit out of place imo. Any focus or mk3 mondeo rims ( i had been thinking of titanium X alloys) should fit no problems even the 16 inch ones. i think the new mondeos have a slightly larger centre bore and larger off set.

also there have been about 5 versions of the same style alloy all with very subtle differences if you are considereing getting them second hand like one at a time, you need to make sure the match.

I agree tbh. EVERYONE knows what wheels a focus ST has.

Would look exceptionally tacky on a V50.

The centre hub would need machined to fit any Volvo other than V50 / S40

I'm not thinking of these anymore, thanks for the replies. It was an idea instead of having my Medusa's refirbished as they are so cheap.

Default Wheel compatability.

All the various 'ST' style wheels should fit the current smaller Volvos that are built on the Focus platform, and all the concurrent Volvo wheels are interchangable, but you would have to check those on the current C70s where they have a different offset to contribute to the wider track of that car.

My main interest has been in locating wheels to fit over the big brake kit that I sell for both Focus and current smaller Volvo models where not one single 18" Ford or Volvo original 18" wheel design has a spoke that will clear this kit without spacers, so prospective customers need to buy a suitable aftermarket wheel to clear bigger brakes.

Regards, Don.
