Default Rubber peeling of Voume Knob

Looking at other forums Mainly US sites this is a common Problem. Has any one in the UK found a "quick fix"

I haven't seen one. I gather if you manage to get a console unit from a breakers it is possible to forceably remove a knob from another console unit and replace yours. Volvo don't sell the knobs separately so I guess a broken unit may be your best bet.

just so you are aware the us Volvo part sites sell the chrome edged knobs sepseratley, you can install them you self but is a bit of a mission as you need to remove the waterfall then dismantle it. but its possible. theres a tuitorial kicking about on the c30world forum. bewarned though like with all volvo bits they arent cheap.

I did see them and the price but the look is not identical to the stock version....or so I believe.
Perhaps it's cheaper to get some machined?

Some machined ones would be nice.
