  • VOC Members: There is no login facility using your VOC membership number or the details from page 3 of the club magazine. You need to register in the normal way

Default Turbo oil return pipe

Hi guys
Planning on tackling the dreaded oil leak from the return pipe
But wanted to replace the pipe with a new one as well as the seal
Where would i get one from online

If it is a petrol model, then your only option is the dealer. I dont know about the diesel.

yep, pretty sure you are stuck with dealer on this one. For what it's worth, I did the same thing as you. When I took my return pipe off, it was pitted/rusty enough that I was not sure that it would prevent further leaks from developing.

FYI: I've got a guide available for this job (see my footer). In addition, if you find that you are having difficulty getting the pipe back in, consider removing the RHS axle shaft to give yourself some extra access. Don't use too much strength to force the pipe in - you will kink the end, if you get the angle and location just right it should go in with firm yet careful pressure. You'll know it's all the way in if the top can be maneuvered into position without issue. I ended up practicing without the seal in place to make sure that I got the angle/orientation correct.

edit: I see that the Volvo part is available from FCP Euro in the US so you should be able to order the OEM version from online retailers at your end as well if it is inconvenient to head to the dealer.
