So yeh have the clutch and dmf on the way, which should solve any clutch issues have previously from hard acceleration from stand still, as have not had any other problems appart from that and it has been quite a while gone now.

What mileage are the clutches meant to go on the cars anyway? im on 126k and the clutch still feels very strong.
I replaced mine at 137k and was still looking OKish. Either it was second set already (someone would have to replace it before 89k miles and I doubt that) or car was treated nicely thorough its life, decide yourself

btw - if dont mind me asking, how much did you pay for whole set? Did you get OEM DMF&CSC + S60 clutch kit or full set from R model?

yeh im still deciding if I should run the current clutch till it slips then change which is the way im probably going I think as it is still very good at the moment.

I got the S60R clutch with DMF and that small circle thing all as a kit for £450 + £13 with postage I think it was. I have been keeping an eye on Focus RS clutchs which seemed to of been a lot more than that, so as soon as I saw it just snapped that up so its around till I need it .... one less thing to think about really, but just the labor costs.

Very good price that is, are those OEM parts or equivalent? I paid a bit less for my kit but its standard T5 kit, I would imagine S60R is more $$$.
I am curious about your thoughts after fitting and driving, dont forget to update us!

Yes will defenitly keep updated, The S60R is the upgrade to our T5 OEM clutches and was told that the S60R was a better upgrade than the Focus Mk2 Clutch. Not sure how soon I will pop this on as im thinking of getting a quaf diff at the same time as well to reduce installation costs

As far as diffs go, the Wavetrac Gripper is the one, the Quaife LSDs are helical and don't work nearly as well as the Gripper. Cost a bit more though...
