retro fit illuminated sills, wiring advice needed
So got a set of illuminated sills off ebay (genuine volvo job) and have got the two front sills and wiring harness. Looks like a 3 pointed star that goes as a spacer to run each side off. My guess is that the loom its going into is in the A pillar footwell area but i suppose it could go to the B pillar.
Anyone got any ideas where this wires in? 2016 plate V90 for info. Just before i start stripping it down and waste an hour in the wrong area! |

The wires are definitely in the A-pillar. I watched a Volvo mechanic fix mine :-)

Dont know about the V90 but these instructions are for the XC90, I would presume yours is similar. At the very least they should be a useful steer.

If you look at the link provided above you can change the model to V90 and download your exact installation instructions.

Yes they go in the A pillar footwell.
When I had to take m6 trim off for dash cam the wire for the sills connected near where the button is to turn off passenger airbag. I assume it would be the same when you do the drivers side? |
