I have had a big batch of rudds stuff come in I have been offering my customers , not advertising the parts was also a big box of paperwork and some rudds tolling some odd gauges and charts ( enamel sign was first to go ) all from a chap that worked there and owned a Amazon great chap had lots of stories to tell and he’s given me some leads on another guy but I don’t tend to chase rudds stuff I just move it on for others to enjoy even have a few brass plaques that go under dash cluster and some key rings among other trinkets but I’ve been handing them out like candy and just sold a complete engine complete with a rocker cover

Hi Rob, does the paperwork you have been given refer to the specification of mods done to particular cars, as I'd love to know what was done to my Ruddspeed 122s, as nothing came with the car.

Basically

In regards to engine mods if the item ie

Head
Block
Etc

Have a plaque then it was done and extras like rocker covers were sold to each customers needs

Also areas around the car like suspension , exhaust , inside car 99% of the time they put a plaque on anything they modded so if you have a plaque then it was rudds at the time it’s as simple as that if the car is original

You do get folk that just take from a car and screw them on other cars and drop Ruddspeed engines into cars to call them a rudds

But the reason I don’t go down that rabbit hole is most rudds stuff is worn out now and dated so I rather have modern machine work done which has more power and fresh than a old crusty say rudds head
