Default 2010 C70 - Rear Seat Removal

This is my first post so excuse me if I posted this in the wrong area.

I am trying to remove the rear seats in my Mk2 C70 as I need to get the rear side panel off - I have searched the web, forum etc and I can only find descriptions on how to remove them on a Mk1.

I have got the base of the seat out but can't get the back of the seat out - I am sure it will be obvious once someone tells me but I cant figure out where the bolts are for the back of the seats

I found tech guides that refer to document "VCC-261406-1, Rear seat side panel, replacing" but can't find that document anywhere - does any one have any advice?

thanks in advance
Adam

turns out a good pull at the top removes them - I knew it would be something simple

Just slide your hands behind the top of the back rest just under the headrest and give it a big pull - it is held in by big metal clips that you cant break - there are hooks on the bottom so once you have got the upper clips released and clear of the headrest then you can lift the backrest straight up

Hi Adam,

You can download the install instructions for front parking sensors here: -

https://accessories.volvocars.com/en...utomatic/R.H.D

This details how the seats/panels are removed.
