Default 1.9 Diesel spring/strutt alignment?

Hi, I have a 1.9 diesel v40 2002. I changed a broken front spring without tech info and have read theres an alignement method to get the top spring mount in correct position. Spring is rubbing body occasionally so I need to do spring again.
Can someone tell me the re-fitting procedure or better still post a diagram from the Volvo repair manual on here.

cheers Ian

Provided the top mount, bearing and spring cup are all seated into place then you should be all good, as i have my doubts it would even bolt together properly if it weren't together correctly, my setup is different as im on coilovers but i dont think you can really get it wrong to be honest.

Here's an exploded diagram of the phase 2 setup, and the page ive linked it from showing photos of each part.

I don't know whether this diagram for some petrol models is the same, but may be worth trying it ?

Thanks all,
I will take of the Suspension unit and have a look at it and see where these alignement holes are. I did'nt notice any holes when I put the unit together but they must be there. I cant be far out I think, as I put the spring back against the the same point on the top mount where the old spring end sat.
Can see upper spring seat has to be rotated 20 degrees clockwise against lower spring seat. Hopefully I can see this, and adjust, without need to take spring off again.
