Slight increase in revs
With the various problems I've had with my D3 C70 over the last few weeks (hopefully now sorted!), I find I'm listening for the slightest thing.
Today I noticed, when in neutral, if I depress the clutch pedal then release it, its as though I've given the throttle a tiny blip. Anything to worry about? Thanks in advance Malcolm

I'm going to go with throttle position sensor or clutch pedal sensor.
If you've had the car in somewhere and it's come back with this fault I'd be getting on the blower to them to sort it.

I've just bought a V50 D3 and it has this - when you bring the clutch pedal back up to start moving the car, the revs go from around 800rpm to near 1000rpm. I assumed it was normal. Was there a problem, and if so, what was the fix?

My C30 D3 did this, never had any issues as a result assumed it was some sort of rev blip for when you were changing gears

It’s an anti stall built in so when you dip the clutch and pull away in gear you don’t stall it. Gives enough revs to move off correctly.

Had this on a Transit we hired a while back, although initially an annoyance I got used to it & actually missed it when I got my usual van back lol. Especially useful on hill starts
