HELP! Injectors for d5

Hi there
I have a lovely s60 2006 2.4 d5 185bhp automatic very low miles at 55k,had it for a few months now.When I bought it it had been stood and not used for quite considerable time,when I start from cold it turns over and for quite a while and doesn't always fire at first attempt,try again this time depressing the accelerator pedal it fires up and get a bit of diesel knock and is lumpy on tick over.I been told to change the injectors,do I buy new or refurbished and can anybody recommend someone,any help would be appreciated

injectors are expensive and have flow codes which have to be entered into the cars computer . You might only have one faulty injector , best get it diagnosed properly to save you a lot of money ,

Hi there
Thank you for the reply,I have changed 1 injector bought it new and the car is still the same on start up,after it run for a bit its fine just from cold.

how did you determine which one to change ? Did you get the number on top programmed into the engine computer ?

Would I have to go to Frf Swansea to get the codes entered into the cars computer?
